Kadhi with Pakore

ALL YOU NEED:

2 cup Yogurt (kept overnight/ 5-6 hrs for sourness)
2 tsp Gram Flour (Besan)
1 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Bay leaf
10-12 cups water
2 Red Chillies
3-4 tsp Mustard oil/ any other oil
Salt to taste
2 pinches of Red chili powder
2 tsp of water

For Pakore:
1 big onion sliced
4-5 tsp gram flour (Besan)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Pinch of salt

METHOD:

PAKORE:
Add the sliced onions and besan (gram flour in a bowl)


 Add turmeric powder and salt..


Add a little bit of water and mix it well...


Heat the oil for frying and fry the pakoras...:D


Once they are a little brown it's ready...:D


KADHI:

Heat the oil in the pan and add Cumin seeds, red chillies and bay leaf...


Mix the yogurt and besan in a bowl...
NOTE: The curd should be sour, I kept it overnight in a bowl in the oven...:D


Add 3-4 cups water make sure the mixture is lump free...


Add this mixture to the pan and add more water about 6-7 cups...


Let it boil for about an hour you can adjust the consistency according to your taste...:D
Add the Pakoras and let it cook for 5-6 mins and it's ready to be served...:D
Also add salt at this step... 


In another pan heat 1 tsp mustard oil and add red chili powder and 2 tsp water...
Add this tadka over the kadhi and it's ready to be served...:D





Serve it with plain boiled rice...:D
