Chicken Yakhani-IP

ALL YOU NEED:
1 whole chicken cut
3 green cardamom
1 black cardamom
1 cinnamon stick
1 cup milk
3 tbsp ginger powder
3 tbsp fennel powder
2 cups yogurt
Salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee

METHOD:
Pressure cook all the masala and milk with chicken in the IP for 5 minutes (no salt plz). Instantly release the pressure and open the lid.



Mix yogurt with ginger and fennel powder in a bowl.

In another pan on stove add ghee and the yogurt mixture.


Pour the above mixture to the IP when comes to a boil. Add salt to taste.



Best served with rice.

Kheer-Instant Pot


ALL YOU NEED:

12 cups Milk
2 cups rice (soak for an hour or not)
Please feel free to change the portion size if you r making a smaller or a bigger batch.
1 can Condense milk (16 oz)
Sweetener can be substituted with jaggery or sugar.
Peeled and soaked Almonds
Raisins, cashews for garnish


METHOD:

Add Soaked rice in the IP in saute mode for a minute and roast it. Add milk and close the lid.
Setting: Porridge for 40 minutes.
Release steam naturally.

Open the lid and add the condense milk/ sweetener you are using.




Add nuts to garnish and extra flavor. Best served when chill.


P.S. it will get a bit thicker in consistency when cold.

Instant Pot- Masala chicken

I'm so excited to introduce instant pot recipes to my blog, this is definitely made my life easier. If you don't own one yet please get it!! 
This is a 5 min chicken masala recipe which will be my goto from now. 

ALL YOU NEED:

2 Chicken breast cut in pieces
1 medium onion pureed
2 tomatoes pureed
2 green chillies
1 tbsp each ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp oil
1 tbsp cumin seeds
salt to taste
1 tbsp Garam masala/ chicken curry masala


METHOD:
Turn The IP on saute mode.
Heat oil, add cumin seeds and onions, cook till reduce in size and then add tomatoes. Keep stirring the masala until the oil separates...
Add ginger garlic paste, salt, garam masala/ chicken curry masala, green chilies.

Add chicken, close the lid, set it to Manual 6 mins and vent normal



Ready to be served with rotis..:D Yes!! it's that simple...:D
