Chicken Yakhni

ALL YOU NEED:

6 Chicken pieces (I used with and without bone)
1 tsp Cumin seeds
2 Green Cardamon
1 Black Cardamon
1/2 Cinnamon stick
2 cups curd
1 cup water
2 tsp Dry ginger powder
2 tsp Fennel powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder (optional)
2 tsp oil

METHOD:

Heat oil and let the cumin seeds crackle in a pressure cooker...:D

Add the bone chicken pieces to it and cook until a little brown...:D

Something like this...

Stir in crushed cardamon, cinnamon, anise, & slit green chilies...

Add half a cup water and give 1 whistle to the cooker so that the bone chicken is half cooked...

By the time you're waiting for the whistle in another bowl add curd and a cup water (my curd was thick thats why i added water don't add if you have watery curd)
Then add Ginger and fennel powder...

Stir it well to form a lump free mixture, keep it aside until needed...

After the whistle is done, open the cooker and add the boneless pieces of chicken and stir for 2-3 min so that the chicken is half done too...
Then add the curd mixture to it also add 1-2 cups more water (depending on how much curry you want)

Let it come to a boil and then add salt to taste with red chili powder and stir it, close the lid and let another whistle blow...:D

It's ready to be served just Garnish it with Cilantro leaves...:D

P.S the more the curry the better it is..:D Best when served with Plain boiled Rice..:D
