Dosa is a south Indian dish.. Pretty simple to make and delicious to eat..:D

All You Need:

For Dosa:
3 cup rice
1/2 cup Channa dal (Available at Indian store)
1 cup udad Dal (Available at Indian store)
Pinch of Salt
2 tsp Ginger grated

Masala For Dosa:
3 Boiled Potatoes
1 tsp Sarson (Mustard seeds)
1 Sliced Onion
Salt to taste
1 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder

Coconut Chutney:
1 cup coconut flakes
3 tsp kaale channe (Black chickpea) (soaked in water for 3-4 hrs)
2 green chilies (cut down to 1 chili if you don't want it to be spicy)
7-8 tsp Milk
Salt to taste
1 tsp Sarson (Mustard seeds)
1 tsp oil

METHOD:

For Chutney:
In a Mixer add coconut flakes...

Then add pre-soaked Black chickpeas...

Then add green chilies & milk, grind it to form not too thick and not too thin paste...(you can add more milk accordingly)

In a pan heat oil and add Sarson (Mustard Seeds)...

When the seeds start to pop add the coconut mixture to it and mix well...

Cook for 5-7 min...let the mixture cool down
Best when served cold...:D

FOR MASALA:
In a pan add 2 tsp oil and sarson...:D

Add sliced onions and cook until a little brown...

Cut the boiled potatoes and add them to the pan, also add salt, red chili powder and turmeric powder...

Mix them well, cover it for 4-5 mins and let it cook....

Remove the lid and mash some of the potatoes (roughly)

Ready to be served...:D

FOR DOSA:

Add Rice, channa dal and udad dal in a Grinder, add a little water and grind it well...

 Form a paste...

Now add pinch of salt and ginger..:D

In a non stick pan add 2 tsp oil, spread the batter to form a thin, round shape...

Cook from both sides...

Take handful of the potato mixture and place it on the dosa..:D

Now wrap the dosa...

Enjoy it with the coconut chutney now..:D

You can make any Masala and add it to your dosa...:D I added Chicken Masala to my Dosa..;) (same method add chicken and capsicum instead of potatoes)
