This is another yummy and quick recipe my Mom used to make...it's what we call chatpati Chaat..:D
All You Need:
4 medium size Potatoes1/2 tsp Red chili powder
2 tsp Mango powder (Aamchur)
Salt & Pepper
3-4 tsp olive oil
METHOD:
Peel the potatoes and chop them into small pieces..and wash them real good..Take a pan, add generous amount of oil and fry the potatoes till they are brown and cooked...(you dont have to deep fry them)
Keep stirring them time to time else they'll stick to the pan no matter what...
When done you can take them out on a tissue so that extra oil is soaked.. else if you wanna let it be good enough. Add all the seasonings, red chili powder, Mango powder (easily available at any Indian store), black pepper and salt to taste. There you go in no time your food is ready..:)
Raita (Yogurt)
Simply chop tomato and celery, add it to a bowl with plain Yogurt (I use the Greek yogurt) it's kind of thick so I added a little Milk to dilute it..:) When done add Cumin powder with Salt & Pepper...;) I also added 5-6 grapes just to give it a sweet taste but that's totally optional..:)
Njoi it with chapatti..:) You guys can even have it if your Fasting (Happy Navratre) Just replace normal salt with "Sendha namak" (if necessary)
